September 19, 2009 To Whom It May Concern: In 2000 I contracted with L & C Wiley, Inc. to sell me a lot in one of his subdivisions and to build me a home. The project started with some plans for a home that I’d seen and a “laundry list” of changes, upgrades, etc. The laundry list was substantial and essentially doubled the basic floor plan we’d started with plus adding a RV garage/shop. Mr. Wiley took my “laundry list” and drew up plans, reviewed them with me, and gave me a price to construct such a home. After a couple of iterations, we had plans I liked and at a price that I felt was reasonable. During the next several months building progressed, and I was called to the property numerous times for my input on decisions that were being made. A number of modifications were made to the plans based on Mr. Wiley’s recommendations and/or my thoughts as I watched the house come together. The “project” (approximate 2400 SF, ranch home on 2.4 acres) came in pretty much on budget except for upgrades that I had requested and approved. I moved into the house in January 2001. Today, almost nine years later, I ran into Mr. Wiley at another of his lots close to my home. As I indicated to him on that day, “I am just as pleased with the house today as I was the day I moved in”. Mr. Wiley and his team were wonderful to work with and did an outstanding job. They built a quality home for me at a fair price, and without cutting any corners during construction. They involved me in the process to make sure I was getting a product that I could be happy with, and needless to say, I am very happy with the outcome. I feel very confident recommending L & C Wiley, Inc. to anyone wanting to build a quality home at a fair price. Sincerely, Steve Brandt |
